As healthcare professionals, we know treating TMD can be quite difficult. For an area that has a high percentage of the population suffering, there isn’t a great deal of treatment modality options. And the options available, are not very effective (with some even making things worse).
BruxIT was developed and designed based on another treatment modality, which went as quickly as it came to the market. Dr Elliott was one of the top providers and was sorry to see it go. He offered it alongside his botulinum toxin treatments and found great success for some of his more severe suffering patients.
Even though it was an effective solution, there were some pain points with the treatment process we wanted to iron out. Since 2020 we have been working hard to create an alternative solution which we have found a positive response from our initial trial patients. We used their feedback to further tweak the devices and found an even more favourable result on our second and third trials.
